Data Retention Directive - latest developments

The latest developments on the Data Retention Directive is that the EU justice and interior ministers have approved the controversial Directive. The storage of data (be it telephone calls or internet) is between 6 to 24 months. It should be added that it is not details about the content of the telephone calls that are stored but rather a record that a telephone call was made.
